Rev. Henry E. Green III, also known as “Trae,” comes from a family heritage that is rich in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. He is a third generation preacher stemming all the way down to his grandfather, the late Rev. Henry E. Green, Sr., who was a former Presiding Elder.
Rev. Green is the son of Rev. Dr. Henry E. Green, Jr. and Mrs. Jennifer Regina Green, the first family of the Miami District of the Eleventh Episcopal District.
Rev. (Trae) Henry E. Green III is a 2001 graduate of Miami Carol City Senior High School in Miami Gardens, FL. In 2004 he graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. He received his Masters in Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center (Turner Theological Seminary) in Atlanta, GA.
Pastor Green is a 'proud' member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He is the former Director of Collegiate Ministry at Greater Bethel AME Church, Gainesville, FL. He is also a former member of the ministerial staff at Antioch AME church in Stone Mountain, GA, the former Assistant Pastor of St. Paul AME Church in Miami, FL, former Pastor on supply at New Bethel AME Church in Clewiston, FL, the former pastor of Person Chapel AME church, in Midway, AL. Under his leadership there, the construction of the first Family Life Center in Midway, AL took place. He is the immediate past pastor of Greater St. Mark AME Church, in Columbus, GA.Currently, Pastor Green is the dynamic pastor of Payne Chapel AME Church in Greater West Palm Beach, FL, where God is doing a mighty work through him. Pastor Trae is married to the lovely Heather Green. His proudest accomplishment however, was the birth of his son; he is the proud father of London Abijah Green. Pastor Trae’ is one who believes that since God is not through with him, than truly the best is yet to come.
